President and President Zhao Zhenyuan was elected President of the Alliance at the Founding Conference of the New Era Alliance, Together with State Council Counsellor Jiang Minglin, National Think Tank Expert, National Medium-term Program Relevant Experts and other newly elected League Principal Officials, the Opening Ceremony of the Alliance was launched. The leaders of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs and the Development and Reform Commission of Changping District attended the inaugural meeting of the League.
At the meeting, President Zhao delivered the keynote speech, proposing to promote the development of new energy through the powerful platform of Zhongguancun. President Cho said,"The Union is of interest to all State ministries, It is not my personal honour to be elected President of the Alliance. It is a sign of the increasing importance of EDRI in the country to the development of new energy resources. We will contribute to the promotion of new energy in our country. "
